Big John's Pizza approached Bentzdesign Studios to discuss upgrading their branding. This well known local restaurant has a reputation for delicious homemade pizza, so the imagery in the logo would be an important aspect to ensure that it gave off an "established pizza place" feeling. Hiring Bentzdesign Studios to design a logo is an involved process. We will study your business, your objectives and your personal preferences. From there we will sketch out logo concepts. Sometimes we get it right on the first round of sketches. Sometimes logos end up going through four or five rounds of concept tweaks. It is a process, and we won't stop until the customer is fully satisfied. Personally, this was an exciting design project for me. This client is a very popular local restaurant, giving this logo a lot of exposure. And the older, vintage styling of the logo (and of the logo sketches) is my favorite style to design in.
